help with blackberry...

really need some help- I have to decide if I want to get a blackberry or just get wifi for home..can the blackberry be a good substitute for home laptop? its the cost plus what I need to do, ie, lots of calls, and email.

I live abroad at the minute but am in the Uk for a month with the kids then back and forth- i need to have skype access, ebay and email. any advice is very welcome!

Will Skype only be used in the UK or do you need that to work on while abroad too? Are you in Europe or outside?

Would suggest checking if Three covers the UK locality but no good if you need Skype from overseas too as you'd probably be hit for costly data charges (in UK they don't charge for Skype use and some handsets have it as standard, even on PAYG).

hi, no, mostly outside europe... have decided to get wifi at home and guess will just have to rely on texting when out and about with the babies:) many thanks though
