Laptop with most reliable DVD drive & wireless?

My HP Pavilion has been less than reliable. First of all the wireless died, then it was very slow & had to be sent back to be repaired & now the DVD drive only works occasionally.

So I'm looking for a replacement. Which brands will have:-
a) a reliable DVD-drive (I am halfway through transferring all my 400+ CD's into mp3's)
b) a reliable wireless
c) quite good speakers

The laptop will be used mainly for surfing, music & a bit of document writing.

Oh, and I cannot wait to get rid of Vista.

I have always found Dell laptops very robust.

Thanks JB! Had thought about Dell as DH has one for work, but had no idea how dvd-drives etc. work on them as all these 'extras' are switched off on his.

Any other ideas?
