oh God. It only arrived last week, too. I live in a country where i don't speak or read the language (arrived a month ago)and books are my life-blood...i could cry, i really could.
the screen looks like the "ink" has bled almost covering the top 1 and a half inches...a soft or hard re-boot does nothing. i know the warranty won't extend to accidental damage - there isn't a mark on it, do you think they'll repair or replace it if i say it just suddenly stopped working? i hate fibbing but i am desperate - moving costs probably prohibit justifying a new one...
what would you do?
