Dongles!

Can anyone recommend me a good deal on a dongle. My DH travels to London at least once a week and the wi-fi is now payable on the east coast mainline.
Are there any suppliers that are better/ cheaper than others?
Thanks in advance!

I had vodafone and never had a good signal and it was really expensive. Have now changed to an Orange version and get 3GS signal majority of time ( and even when I dont get that the signal is amazing compared to Vodafon), and paying a fraction of a price. Hope this helps

Thanks! How much is it if you don't mind me asking?

Can his phone be used as a wifi hotspot?

BigGitDad · 21/01/2011 12:39

Sorry but why do you need a dongle if the wi fi is payable on the line?

CruelAndUnusualParenting · 21/01/2011 13:56

A dongle is likely to be cheaper, but considerably less reliable. If you are used to losing a mobile signal in every bridge or tunnel, you'll get the same effect with your internet connection. I believe the onboard wifi is set up to handle it better, but I don't have any actual experience to confirm that.

The wifi is rubbish apparently and really expensive.
