What have I done to our Wii

Unplugged it at the weekend to take it to Grandma's to show her the new game she bought ds1 for Christmas but it wouldn't work at her house, nor once it is back home.

I know I have the handbook somewhere, but is there something you have to do to it, when using it on a different TV?

Well if you are back home it should be working on yours and it only has two modes 50 and 60hz.

I reckon you bricked it with the journey if it's not working on your TV now.
