clicky button below mousepad on my laptop has stopped working

its worn out?

i have been tapping on the scratch pad instead for ages.

not sure it's worn out as it's only six months old.

just wondered if there's something i can do to re programme it.

Mine too. It's very annoying. I just dap on the pad like Edgar does.

Worth checking in Control panel, mouse section to make sure the buttons haven't been disabled.

it worked briefly a few mins ago?

this is odd indeed. i looked in the control panel but was a bit erm flumoxed tbh.

Does the button click feel different between when it worked and when it didn't? There could be something small trapped underneath the button.

Is it just the left button? or both?
