I have this old machine from work (cost £25!) that I am setting up for my mum. It comes with 512MB 400MHZ DDR II MEMORY, (2*256MB. It can be upgraded to 2GB.
If I purchase the extra memory (about £60) what difference will I see in the computer's performance?
My mum only needs a computer that can surf the internet (so she can do her own Ocado order rather than me), watch programmes on Iplayer, send emails and type the occasional letter.
