Why is my back button not working on internet explorer?

Forward ones does but not back page button??

Is this just on mumsnet? I've found that there seem to be some spam type pages in between where you are and where you want to be meaning you have to click back 2/3 times

on all sites? On just some?

Is the button there but unclickable? Or if you click it then it doesn't do anything?

Some websites won't allow you to leave via the back button once you've gone into them. This is due to an error in the coding behind the page and you should report it to whoever is running the website.
