help with HTC desire HD PLEASE!!

Ive just got my shiny new phone (early Xmas present following all the recommendations on here), but cant send text messages- The sales woman set it up for me in the shop and Im wondering if its something to do with the settings-Ive been on every e manual available and really cannot see where ive gone wrong! I compose the message to send,press send but just keep getting notification that my message cant be sent-Can anyone out there advise me-or maybe I'll have to take it back to the shop for help.

just marking my place - im getting a htc sense for xmas and i haven't had my own moby before.

Is this just a new phone on an existing account, or a totally new contract?

Also, something you can try if you have another old phone on the same network (or unlocked) - does the problem follow the SIM if you put it in another phone?

There is an known issue trying to email via gmail from your htc phone (googlemail works fine) but I haven't had a problem texting...touch wood.

There are a couple of good forums to give you help with your android phones. If you google for advice, you should get something you can try at home, save you going out to the shops in this weather.

Ps, Highly recommend getting the swype app, makes typing on the htc really easy. :)
