please help , my iTunes has disappeared

I just downloaded an upgrade and now iTunes has completley gone from my computer.
The music files are there and I can play them with quick time but there is no actual iTunes with all my playlists etc.

DH found the answer on a tecky website.
You go to control panel, then programs, then right click on iTunes and select repair.
