Copying contacts to SIM. Nokia. Help please!

Just copied contacts to SIM, now have got 2 of every one showing on phone. Anyone know why, or what I should have done to avoid this? I am presuming I can just delete one of each name. Yes, I am a dinosaur.

You've copied everything from the phone to the SIM so you've now got two copies of each contact. The phone is simply displaying all of them (the contacts on the SIM and the contacts on the phone). You need to change the settings so it only shows contacts on the SIM... or delete them from the phone.

Can I be cheeky and ask where I do that?! Have been looking and getting nowhere fast!

No, no, forget that, I've done it! (Settings under contacts menu).
