No aerial point in my new flat ?

Ok looking for easiest way to get some telly in new flat,not planning on stopping long ,so dont want to install anything pricey.Can i do freeview with a plug in portable aerial ?

It depends where you are in relation to your nearest mast.

I can get away with an indoor portable aerial because I can actually see the Belmont transmitter from my window.

It also depends on which transmitter you are receiving from. Some give stronger signals than others. You may be on a small relay mast.

Ooooh so much to learn,thankyou lunar !Spoke to audio visual bloke today and he said he would sell me an amplifier indoor aerial thingy ,so will try that if he promises me a refund if thing doesnt work,no idea re nearest mast,will go and google it .
