Photos wiped off camera - am devastated. Please help?

Title says it all really :(

(D)H mistakenly wiped my photos off the DS card of my digital camera. It was inside the camera at the time. It's a micro SD card. No idea how he did it, nor does he.

Anyone any idea if I can get them back?

Any advice greatly appreciated.

(don't do anything with it at all, just in case there is a way)

I don't know how but i do know that a friend managed to get hers back (not sure what sort of card hers was). Someone sent her a link explaining what to do and it worked.

Hoping someone comes along with the answer.

have been googling and it looks possible (may cost you but there may be free options, not sure). Most important thing DO NOT TAKE ANY MORE PICTURES

Listen to alittlebitshy - take the card out, put it somewhere safe and make sure you don't do anything with it.

I managed to corrupt my memory card recently (quite how I am still not sure )

I found various places that could do things and did use one that I did have to pay for but it did restore nearly all the lost photos. Will check which it was when I use the computer again.

It had a free version you could preview the photos with and then to actually get them you had to pay

I did this with all of my newborn photos of DS on it.

I downloaded this programme and borrowed a card reader.

I got back pretty much everything, I was so relieved! Hope you get them back too.

i got married and dad took tons of photos and brother accidently erased them all

had mine/photographers/friends etc but was so at bruv - said you NEVER fiddle with other peoples cameras
