does any one use photoshop, version CS3?

no not as yet, however I cant do vector images, spent hours, then get fustrated and walk away!!

Photoshop surely not best thing to use for vector images as not a vector program - you want illustrator? Or have i completely misunderstood? (sorry if this is the case).

What exactly are you trying to do? Photoshop is not, as OnlyWantsOne said, a vector image programme, although it can do some vector imaging.

was trying to draw some thing, have been making pop art andy warhol type stuff for DP too,

what do you all use it for?

It's mostly a photo editing suite with some extra stuff added on.

It used to be nothing but photo editing!

But if you're actually trying to draw something, Illustrator is the easier to use program for that and then you can take those vector graphics into Photoshop to jazz them up.
