can anyone give me advice about answerphones?

Our ancient answerphone is dying a death - has anyone bought one recently that they would recommend?

Most of the telephone companies now have an answering service. You could try that out before getting another one?

I got a BT Studio Plus 5500 recently from Argos, as a way to help prevent unsolicited sales calls - I now screen all calls. It seems to work fine for my use. It has a single handset, though can support additional handsets (max of 5 in total).

I think I might just go for the BT ansafone which seems fine for that price!
