Is it possible to translate a pdf file from french to english?

I have been searching and searching for a manual for an old sewing machine.

I have now found several that look useful BUT they are in French!

I did'nt do well in my French GCSE and the years that have gone by since then have not helped

Can anyone suggest a simple way of doing this?

Select the text, copy it into Google translate paragraph by paragraph.

Or if you have it online load it on google.co.uk and click the translate button under the results.

Have you got a link? You might be able to copy and paste the text into babelfish which could give you a rough translation?

Thanks for the ideas, it says the file is too big to translate in google

And i cannot seem to copy and paste the text as it only gives the option to copy the image.

Is there a button at the top of the PDF reader that looks like a curser (what the mouse looks like if you hold it over the response box here)

Gosh that's confused it! The problem is the file is in three languages - french, dutch and german. I'll try and hack into it and get it in a plain text version which will make things easier.

LOL I only noticed the French.

I am trying to attach the PDF's in my email now - it is sooo slow
