Hotmail help needed please

Every time I get the hang of it they go and change it or add something new .

Anyway, on the Windows live homepage there's a list of photos that my granddad has supposedly sent under the messenger social heading.

The latest update on the messenger social bit says that my granddad has sent me some (frankly creepy) pics of Japanese girls in their pants so I'm assuming that either my account or his account has been hacked- any ideas? TIA.

Does sound like one or other (PC or e-mail account) has been hacked. Although I have a live.com mail address, and sometimes use it, I have not really bothered with the 'friend network' type facilities.

It tells me about odds and ends my sister may do, but in your case, assuming you have a number of contacts in your address book, I would expect you to get spammy/odd messages from other people too.

Since you have this message apparently from / about your grandad sending something, it may be his mail address has been compromised. Suggest he changes his password as first step, and then checks his PC for viruses or other malware.

Might be worth using housecall.trend-micro.com/ (it is an online facility which allows you to download a bit of scanning software and then runs a check on your PC... a bit like calling the doctor round for a 'house call' :) )

Thank you! I don't use that messenger or social whatever any more, I think it just signs you up when you get hotmail. I will let my Granddad know to change his password and have a look at that housecall thingy. Thanks again!
