HTC Wildfire - not sending me email notifications

Hiya,

I have an HTC Wildfire, and for the past few weeks, I have not been gietting notifications in my status bar, when I recieve new emails.

So I keep having to log-on to my email accounts to check them. I have a couple for work, so it's very handy to get this working, and very annoying wasting time checking emails.

Any idea how to fix this?
