HTC desire sync with outlook but no tasks

I am just about to upgrade my phone. I currently have a Blackberry and have been torn between the HTC Desire and the iPhone. I had made the decision to go for the desire as its cheaper but I've just found out that although you can synchronise the outlook calender, it won't do tasks/to do list. I'm not clear whether the iphone will either though. I'm totally reliant on my task list to keep me organised. Has anyone found a way round it? Thanks

I downloaded an extra app to deal with that on my Desire. Though to be honest I have never found one that quite suits me as well as the one on my old XDA Orbit, but the rest of that was so crap it wasn't worth it.

If you go for the Desire (and I LOVE mine) look in the Android market for task manager/calendar apps and pick what you fancy.

The HTC calendar does events etc quite well, its just the tasklist side that lets it down for me.

Thanks SamJones. Am desperate to just get the thing ordered but don't want to make a mistake I have to live with for the next 18 months! Does the app you have allow you to sync with Outlook itself or do you have to go via google calendar?
