What cover is protecting your iphone? Does it work?
I am about to get my iphone my new baby and I need it to be protected as I would be the first to admit I am clumsy!

I was thinking of an otterbox defender?
I am unsure if I need a screen protector too?
Any advice would be great tia :)

Screen protector is a definite must, especially if there is any chance of small sticky fingers touching your phone. Or, in my case, large sticky fingers! Grin

I just have a basic clear cover for mine. I've dropped it several times and the cover has come off, but their has been no damage to the phone!

Durp. There has been no damage. Durp.

ooh yes a vvv good one

get an iskin from play
this is mine ooh it feels SO NICE

Ah must get a screen protector then! Are they easy to put on and take off? I worry about air bubbles, like sticky back plastic. I will have closer look at the iskin- is it protective. I am likely to drop it Blush

i have a sheet of plastic over screen - got think 8 from amazon for £3 here and also have this lovely girly pink cover :)

def get a screen protecter, esp if you use in the bath as i often do Grin

I have this one - it's very thin so I can put it in my pocket ok. It's alright, getting a bit flimsy now. I covet one of these from Cath Kidston

I have the otterbox defender, it comes with a plastic screen so you don't need a screen protector as well. It does have bubbles on the screen but doesn't affect the operation at all. ds (17mo) has dropped it on the floor, banged it on the table and tried to eat it Hmm and so far no damage to the actual phone Smile

it's not the most attractive of cases it has to be said but it certainly does the job!

mrsjamin I was looking at those gorgeous Cath Kidston covers the other day.
blondes veryfunky :)
Unfortunately like lindsell I also have a little ds but tbh it will be me who most likely to drop but least likely to eat it Grin
I have decided to get the otterbox commuter tl in black :)
Dp could not be less bothered I have finally come to a decision.

Thank you all :)

p.s if anyone has a commuter can you come to talk to me about it please.

I have one of similar to these but from local mobile phone shop which is great.
Only downside is that with the flip open it looks like a 1980's phone! However after 10 months constant use my iPhone 3 still looks great (and it has a clear plastic stick on screen too)

RustyBear · 23/09/2010 19:03

Out of the various cases I've tried on my 3G, the incase Slider is definitely the best - I've dropped my iphone several times and it's survived - and I can dock the phone without having to take it out of it's case (the bottom of the case does come off if you need it to though) It's getting much harder to find now, and it's fairly expensive.

I put a screen protector on my phone when I first got it but when I needed to replace it I got bubbles in it every time & gave up and it's been fine without it. I don't have toddlers, though....
