Can I turn a word document into a graphic?

I want to create a visual document that shows the front page of lots of other documents, reduced, shrinky-dink style.

Is there any way of turning each document into a graphic whose size I can reduce without the formatting going out of proportion, like you'd be able to do with a clip art picture? I wouldn't want to edit any of them again afterwards.

What computer are you on?

An easy way would be to do a screen grab, but that's going to vary according to which Operating System you use.

Windows 97? Do you mean Windows 7?

On all Windows Machines it should work in a pretty standard way.

Do a "Print Preview" so you've got a nice representation on the screen how of the Document would look if it were printed. Get the page as big as possible.

Thing hit the "Print Scrn" button, this does
the screen grab.

Then go to Word and do a Paste.

You might want to then crop the picture down a bit to get rid of the other stuff that was on the screen at the time. That varies according to what version of Word you've got.

In Office 2007 if you double click on the picture you'll get some edit tools, one of which is a "crop" control which you can use to crop down the image.
