I use my iphone as my main diary and place to update contacts, but I synchronize regularly with my outlook calendar.
I've recently noticed that I'm only getting things synchronized in one direction, i.e. from the PC to the phone. I'm not sure how long this has been happening 
but I'm a bit worried that it has always been like this and I've only just noticed.
Previous phones or palmtops I've had always synchronized both ways, i.e. the most recently updated contact or appointment, whether it's on the phone or the laptop, overwrites the old and becomes the new version. Any conflicts were flagged up.
Is this something I have to put up with? Or am I missing some settings somewhere?
I could spend hours trawling the apple help system, but I have more faith in getting an answer from mumsnet 
I'd be grateful for any suggestions you may have.
