Please recommend a printer for me!

OK, so I need a new printer as my old one's finally died. I'll still mainly be printing plain documents so it must have the capability to print in B & W.
It must be compatible with Windows 7 and a 64-bit system...which is very important....
....and the ink cartridges must be as cheap as possible - I don't want to buy a printer which costs less than the cartridges!

Bit of a tall order but I'd love to hear from anyone who's happy with their printer and would recommend it.

I'd recommend a laser printer, unless you really must have photo quality printing. The cartridges may be expensive, but they last a lot longer, so overall running costs are lower.

My HP Color Laserjet CP1515N has pretty good colour reproduction. It isn't photo quality, but it's good enough for any other use.

There was a site selling compatible cartridges that gave away the printer with 2 sets of cartridges, but I can't find it right now.
