Has anybody successfully used a photo upload/print service from a mac?

In the past I've used Snapfish with a few compatibility niggles but it's got worse. I haven't logged in for a while, but when I did I got a tiny window to log in which didn't enlarge once logged in grrrrrrrr. It was always a PITA to upload anyway.

I've also attempted tesco/asda etc ages ago but they weren't mac compatible at all.

Can anyone recommend a site please? I want to actually print off some holiday photos so I can save them from future burglars.

Photobox.

As long as you can browse to where your pictures are stored it's easy.

Good quality prints too and once you register they're always sending discounts/ offers

thanks MrsF.

I was liking the look of photobox so I've uploaded some photos. But it won't let me rotate them so they're the right way up! It kind of looks like they're rotated because the shape changed from landscape to portrait IYSWIM, but the image is still on it's side and SQUASHED! Confused

oh well...

Shortcut to rotating images on Photobox on a mac is the apple key + r together. Hope that makes sense. I'd second the Photobox recommendation - their books are great too, and prints are very speedy.

ok, I'll go and have a go, ta.

grrr. OK.

The photos that I tried to rotate but it didn't work, are now rotated Confused

I've just tried to do the shortcut on both the thumbnail and single views but nothing happened. Maybe when I log back in they will have rotated?

It's never straight forward is it?

If the shortcut key doesn't work try right clicking on image - may get some options

Or use their editing software.

No right click on macbook. Just a track pad.

Right click = ctrl click on mac...

FerminaUrbinoDaza · 19/08/2010 19:45

As in hold down ctrl and click...

I used asda's photo service a couple of weeks back and it worked fine from my mac :)

ZinglebertBembledank · 20/08/2010 20:22

Thanks, I think I've ordered some from iPhoto. I'll have a look at Asda again too.

Cheers!
