I really hope someone can help me. I have a 3GS, with software upgrade to OS 4. Since upgrade I have had a poorer signal (wherever I am), callers have not been able to hear me talk and the phone crashes during calls.

I would like to get rid of the OS 4 I think (unless anyone has any better ideas) but I don't know how t do this and not lose my data.

Can you do a back up of your data on your computer then restore?

Go to your local o2 store (if you are o2) and ask for an appointment with the 'genius'. I had similar issues and my o2 guy offered to restore to os3 using the version loaded on his computer at the store - it seems that others are suffering!

You won't be able to 'wind back' on your own computer.
