msn chat logs

can anyone help?

my msn chat logs are no longer saving. I dont understand why.

Have checked the tools/options/messages thingy and its still ticked to record chat logs.

Ive checked where it says its saved and its just not there.

Also, if i right click on somone in msn, you can view message history. And its not showing there either.
