Ipod touch frozen screen-help!

have tried pressing both buttons 'til the apple appears and done full back up/restore, but screen still frozen.

any ideas. volume and power buttons ok just the screen.

I had to wait until the battery died. Then once I recharged it, it was ok again, when I turned it on.

thanks teaandcake, picked it up this morning to try again and it was working fine!
