I bought one yesterday. put all the stuff I wanted on it, took it to the gym, was fine. Came home downloaded a few more tunes, put them on then disconnnected properly.
Noticed that I couldnt turn it back on so thought Id just leave it alone oevrnight and now its permanently in 'disk mode' whatever that it, when its disconnected it says 'ok to disconnect' and when its connected it says 'do not disconnect'

I dont know what to do with it

oooo. I've got the classic and was hoping some bits might be similar.
Is there a 'lock' button somewhere on it - a slider usually, on the side? Could that be on? I@m for ever knocking my one to 'lock' and stopping it from working. Other thing - is it fully charged? New ones often need a lot of charge first time, then run it completely flat?
[fears being no help whatsoever emoticon]
