Can anyone suggest where it has gone?!
To be brief I am using a Laptop running Windows XP and bought and sucessfully installed a HP F4580 Deskjet all in one printer.
It has been working (wirelessly) perfectly well for a couple of weeks. I went on holiday for a week during which time the computer hasn't been used. When I tried to print last night I was told that there was no printer installed. Checking via control panel confirms that it has indeed gone.
I tried to reinstall the HP software disc but it has a crack in the centre where one of the children seems to have helpfully sat on it. Tried to downlad HP driver software from the HP website but this keeps failing.
I am at the limits of my computer knowledge so would be grateful for any ideas
