Help - I have wrecked my iphone with an entire bottle of milk. Talk to me about the cheapest way to replace it please.

I had a bottle of milk in my handbag which of course leaked and has killed my iphone. I am now cut off from the world. I am in month 14 of a 24 month contract with O2 and the phone is not insured. So - what is the cheapest way of getting myself a replacement iphone? I don't care if it's the latest one or not.

when i was with orange and i broke my phone I rang them and asked what i could do

they basically said that if i took out an insurance policy i could get a replacement phone for about £60 or £70 quid or i could just pay to replace the phone complelely

so o2 may do something similar?
