Blocking Friends on FB

Really, just as the title says. I don't want to delete friend on FB (yet) but want to block them from seeing my updates (unless they go to my page which, to be honest, they probably don't) and I want to block seeing their updates. How do I do it?

It's probably very simple but I can't seem to figure it out.

You need to set up a limited friends list- add them to it and then go to your privacy settings and customise it so that only friend except limited friends see your statuses.

However this will mean they wont see it even if they click on your profile.

Thanks. How do I set up a limited friends list? Is it the same way I set up lists to see who's on line? (For example, school friends, work friends, etc.)
