iPhone 4 - I have one and have no idea what to do with it

I've never had an iPhone before, my current mobile phone is, well, a phone.

What apps should I get? Does Mumsnet have an app or should I just access it through the web browser?

Also, why are they refunding everyone who bought a bumper? Should I not use it for some reason? I only bought one because I thought bright orange would make it easier to find in the tardis-like depths of my handbag.

I haven't managed to get my sim to work yet, so will be heading back to Vodaphone again sometime soon. In the meantime I'm connecting to my home wi-fi to play with it.

They're refunding people for the cost of the bumper because they're now going to offer them free (to overcome the signal strength problem) as it is less bad, publicity-wise to to give them to users, than to sell them to users, so people who have paid for them are presumably being given a refund, just to placate those who would otherwise feel 'ripped off'.

I don't think there is any MN application (yet) but check on site_stuff as there may be one or two threads asking about it over there.

Thanks for that.

Orange is very ugly btw, I may have to go for a different colour.

The MN app is 'coming soon'

It has been 'coming soon' for quite a while now...

I'm not so bothered about it now though, as I now mostly MN from my iPad and the standard webpage is fine on that.

My favourite apps are National Rail, Sky Patrol, Deduce, Angry Birds AroundMe and iBooks
