Multiple Calendars on iPad

I loved the multiple calendars on the iPad in the shop so much that I've bought one in the hope of becoming highly organised! But I can't figure out how to set up separate categories i.e. my work, DH's work, kids' stuff. Any ideas??

On the iPod Touch & iPhone the Calendars are managed by the software on your computer. So on a Mac they're managed by iCal. That means that the Calendar App itself can't add, edit or delete Calendars.

I'm not sure if the iPad version works the same way but I suspect that it does, so you'll need to do it on your computer.
