Just need to make a few changes to ds's mobile phone. What can be done? I need to stop the free internet that they seem to have given him as a treat, to stop him using facebook at night and is there anyway they can stop him text messaging after certain time? Any info welcome before we phone them up, please

I'd suggest the low tech approach - when brushing his teeth and getting ready for bed, the phone is switched off and goes downstairs.

I don't know of any general safeguards that allow you to stop texts after some hour, and as for the 'free' internet, a block on use is again something that I doubt is offered... Only a different phone (with radio, MP3 player, perhaps, so there's enough extra to basic phone and text but no internet access).
