What is this plant?

I have a HUGE, over 6' tall triffid growing in my front garden (actually I have 2).

I planted them years ago, not knowing what they were, and they are quite spectacular, and I want to know what they are.

Deffo NOT foxgloves or lupins - different leaves & too big.

I have put pics on my profile if anyone can tell me?

Thanks

I think it could be a type of verbascum -- they vary a bit, but you can get some real titans. Trying to find a pic that shows one with non-hairy leaves now!

Ooh, the flowers DO look the same don't they.

I am just amazed by the leaf size & shape

Verbascum olypicum sounds about right -- or you could have a new crossbreed unknown to science (verbascum Milliways sounds rather good!)

'Olympicum' even

Thank you - think you have cracked it!
