New Potatoes not yet flowered

Planted back in march as per instructions. All grown very well, earthed up etc (grown in potato growing bags).

They were due to harvest last week, but no sign of flowers. I think one type was rocket and cannot remember the other offhand, but niether type has flowered. Should I be harvesting or wait a bit longer?

thanks

Not all types of potato do flower, so that doesn't matter.
I think they say that they're ready when the stalks start to droop and the foliage looks like it's starting to die.

Oh Thankyou too, I thought I had messed up my spuds but maybe not Some foliage was drooping and I cut it away so can I go have a root and see what I have??

I have exactly the same - planted International Kidney in March but the frost got the foliage in early May so they are about 2-3 weeks behind. I saw some of the haulms yellowing a bit on one plant, still no flowers, so dug it up and had a small haul of delicious pots we ate yesterday. So maybe this is a non flowering kind? Or maybe if I leave them another few weeks will have a few more on each plant...........will report back.

same here. I was beginning to wonder if my 'early' potatoes were ever going to flower, but decided to have a rummage and see what they were doing underneath the soil... lo and behold, we have got loads of quite good size potatoes already! and they are delicious!
