My Wisteria finally flowered!!!!

Mum gave me a wisteria about 8 years ago and I had totally given up hope that it would ever flower. But I looked out yesterday and there it was in all it's glory!

Wow, pisces, 14 years! You could have moved or anything before it flowered!

Hurray Wisteria. I have a 3yo one and relocated it because it was in too much wind. It is now growing nicely but maybe another 5 yrs to flowers.

I had almost given up! This is the first proper year. It just had a few blossoms last year.

have you taken photos Pisces? I would be out there with my camera the day I saw blossoms and every day after.

that's cool, mine still hasn't flowered yet and I've had it a few years.

I have always loved the idea of wisteria since I read "The Enchanted April| but had figured I needed to move to Italy!

Yes-have also sent them to the person who gave me the cutting. It still has too many leaves so I guess it isn't fully mature yet.
