Planting out Lilies

My mum sent me some bareroot lilies for my bday - is it safe to plant outside now and best in pots or the ground ?

I'm no expert but my lilies are outside (Northwest England) all year round and I have never had a problem with them.

Yes, stick them out now. Mine are year round in the ground too.
