For anyone who remembers me & my total inexperience in growing anything, well i have moved the pumpkin plant outside in a huge plant pot.
It has grown quite long & thick with about 10 little bud/flowery tips.
So i have now got the bug & have dont lots of pots for the patio & am feeling really pleased with myself,we are even growing some toms also.
The problem now is,i have just been outside watering them all & i can see a slug/snail trail on the top of the soil in the pumpkin pot?
I have placed it on a wooden step & no joking the pot is so tall i really thought they wouldnt be able to get near it
It all looks ok,no bite marks anywhere but what can i do to protect it?
I will be so very p*ed off if after all my nurturing it gets eaten by bloody slugs/snails.
Any help is gratefully accepted,thanks.
