Petrol lawnmower - how to service ?

Mower playing up, dh can't seem to keep the motor running and it cuts out. Think it probably needs a service but haven't seen anyone advertising this locally in post office, paper or magazine . Any tips as to how to do it (bearing in mind dh is not mechanical !) or find someone ?

have you tried googling. there's a small company on a local industrial estate that does ours. if you aren't mechanical i think you could seriously screw it up otherwise

We found someone to do it too, came recommended by a landscape gardening friend - the place also sold lawnmowers.
