Can you plant these out in grow bags or do they have to be in beds? You can tell I am a total novice !! Any advice would be most welcome!!

Sprouts and broccoli have to be REALLY WELL HEELED into the ground, because even a slightly soft ground will mean they will rock in the wind and therefore not set good hard sprouts (I know from many years trying to grow sprouts).

They need very firm ground, and not the same patch year on year otherwise the ground gets diseased easily.

So, probably not the best things to put in grow-bags?

No, not in grobags. As MM says - heel them in well and cover them with netting to protect from cabbage whites and pigeons.
