Hi
I just wondered if anyone could come up with any ideas on not too expensive options for help on my allotment,.
im 8 months pregnant and getting really frustrated because i have hours and hours worth of weeding to do before i can put inh my veg this year. I did a couple of hours last week and was just in pain for days afterwards-i mean my hips my bum and even my knees were hurting ! Ive asked some of my daufghters friends if they want to earn a few bob but they all have exams at the moment !
Any idea how much it would cost me to pay someone or are there any voluntary groups i could maybe approach ? Many thanks

Oh bless you!!

Our next door neighbours pay £10 an hour for their gardener. However, I do remember reading a thread on MN about a woman who put a card up for an errand boy at her local sixth form college - and hey presto keen outdoorsy teenagers eager for holiday cash.
