talk to me about edging - the plastic corrugated sort

I'm going to make a flowerbed all along one side of the house - it'll be about 12m long. Most edging is a bit pricey really considering the amount I'll need - is the plastic stuff any good? I would dig it in to just above soil level, so it wouldn't really be visible...

I had some for the same reasons and it all cracked in to sharp jaggedy bits really quickly.
Try a pound shop, they usually have alternative in
