Is it too early to be thinking about summer containers?

Yes or No???

I was going to get some plugplants but would need to plant them out as the greenhouse is broken.

Will they be ok?

I'm in teh south east and garden is south facing and reasonably sheltered.

I've already got mine but they go in the garden shed at night if it's windy or it's cold.

If it's frosty you could just put them against a wall and cover them with a box or something.

Thanks - will have a look this weekend. Is it too late for plugplants do you think?

Thompson and Morgan have some great offers on them at the moment. I got 84 Laurentia last month for about £12. Have been growing them on a bit on windowsills indoors, DH has just made a makeshift coldframe from an old bit of wood and an unused shower door all wedged between two built in planters on the terrace.

I'm going to put them in the coldframe this weekend and then plant out in the garden in about 2 weeks. We are also SE south facing.
