Long shaft water butt tap needed! Anyone?

To cut a long story short: We want to install a water butt the other side of a wooden fence with just the tap poking through a hole in the fence to fill watering cans.

All the ready made water butt taps are too short. Anyone know where I can get a long one or how to lengthen a standard one?

Would the water butt still be on your property?

How about a hozelock tap?

Yes, the water butt will be on our property albeit in the front garden, not the back!

Thanks for the link- what I need is that but with about a 6" long piece of plastic pipe about where the 2 'washer' shaped bits are!

Could you not fit it with a permanant hose on it?
