Planting out plugs - Too soon?

My mum ordered various plugs form Thompson and Morgan - Fuschias, Lilies and some sort of cat mint(?). Is it still too early to put them outside. If so what should I do in the meantime ? The catminty things were also not in brilliant condition on arrival but no response to my complaint thus far

Can you pot them on on a windowsill until this latest bout of bad weather has passed?

I did a big order from J Parkers and a couple of things that didn't look in great condition I potted on and left in my porch (essentially a giant cold frame). They're now in good condition, and will go out next week.

I'd wait a week or two, slightly longer if you're in the north. Echo re-potting the sad looking ones & keeping them in a greenhouse/windowsill/whatever.

Ditto all that - I imagine they were small plugs? They would be best potted on and allowed to grow on a bit under cover then gradually hardened off before planting outside. If you put them directly out now they would get a huge shock to the system.
