cats in veg bed - yuck

I have a raised veg bed that I've been clearing out and there is rather a lot of cat poo.

I'm going to put a frame with netting over the top to try and stop the problem in future.

is it OK to just dig it over and top up with compost or do I need to remove more of the compost thats in there? With it being a container, I'm not sure whether it would be a problem for my plant or whether I need to take out the compost and start again which is a really big job?

Any tips welcome

I just top up my raised beds every year with compost, provided you rotate crops there shouldn't be a problem.

Sprinkle cayenne pepper around liberally and it will get rid of the cat problem. Re the compost, I'd just add new compost once you've removed poo, and make sure it is dug in really well.
