Growing climbing roses

What I need is a rambler that likes alkaline soil is there such a thing? We have a 2nd home in mid western france (between Poitiers and Tours)
We have calcareous caves in the garden and need something to grow round ,over, them, that looks lovely and smells sweet. Nettles love the area as well!

Rosa Filipes Kiftsgate will cover just about anything you plant it against and is happy on chalk. Mme Alfred Carriere is less rampant but still covered my two storey house without too much effort.
