White wisteria - experts here?

I'm trying to source a particular type of white, highly fragranced wisteria. But I don't know the type/ name. We had a beautiful specimum growing up to my bedroom window when I was a child and I want to plant one just like it up the back wall of the house.

What I remember is that the blossoms were NOT the vrey long trailing type typical of the classic 'blue' wisteria but were shorter and less pyramidal and the scent was very very strong and gorgeous on evenings around June.

Anyone here an expert on wisteria types and can suggest which it might be? It must have been a species available and bought/ planted during the late 1960s/ early 1970s.

Both floribunda and sinensis Wisteria come in white varieties but sinensis has shorter racemes which are more scented than floribunda.
