FRUIT TREE IN POTS, CAN IT BE DONE?

Was thinking of growing our cherry tree in a pot...

I have grown ours in a pot for the first couple of years, but it needs a BIG pot, and really it needs moving on now.

I collected some work compost of a lady who had a concret back yard like us with loooooads of pots including the beautiful fruit trees in pots.

She said get a massive ot then treat it like the earth and it should be fine.

I really really want a little couple of apple trees this year...
